Kanna is one of Naraku's children. She's the one that Naraku
trusts most. She first appeared when she stole all the villagers'
souls with her mirror. Inuyasha and Miroku ran off to see what the
problem was. She used this opportunity to attack the girls.
Sango attacked her with her boomerang, but Kanna deflected the attack with
her mirror. Sango got hit with her own attack. Kanna then used
her mirror to steal Kagome's soul. Kagome's soul was too big.
Her mirror couldn't suck it all in. She left and joined up with
Kagura, who was fighting with Inuyasha. When Inuyasha used the wind
scar on them, she deflected it back to Inuyasha with her mirror.
Inuyasha was horribly injured and could have die if Tetsusaiga hasn't
protected him. Naraku showed up and ordered Kagura to cut off
Inuyasha's head so he could show it to Kikyou. Luckily Kagome
arrived and shot her arrow at them. Kanna couldn't deflect her
arrow. The mirror was overflowed with souls. Kanna had to let
all the souls out or it will break. After everybody got their souls
back, Miroku was ready to use his wind tunnel, but Naraku, Kagura, and
Kanna made their escape.
