Rin is an orphan human girl. She stopped talking after witnessing
her family being killed by thieves. She met Sesshoumaru in the
forest. He was injured from his fight with Inuyasha and couldn't
move. She brought him fish and drink, but he refused her help,
saying that he doesn't eat human food. Later that night, she was
caught by the villagers while trying to steal fish from the pond.
They beat her and she didn't even cry. She came back to Sesshoumaru,
bringing him other stuff to eat. He asked her how she got those
bruises and she just smiled at him. When she got back to the
village, she saw the wolf pack attacking the villagers. She ran
away, back to the forest to Sesshoumaru, but the wolves got her on the
way. Sesshoumaru smelled her blood and came to see her dead body.
He used Tenseiga to bring her back to life. She followed him from
that day on. She is now able to talk again, sometimes she talks too
much and really annoyed Jaken.
